Dawatul Islam Glasgow would like to announce confirmation that the 1st day of Ramadan will be on Wednesday 18th February 2026, in accordance with astronomical measurements.

Furthermore, East London Mosque, along with other masjids in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Edinburgh, and many other UK cities, have confirmed that the first fasting day will commence on Wednesday 18th February 2026 and we will pray Taraweeh Pray tonight at 8.45 pm.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all Ramadan Mubarak from the Dawatul Islam Glasgow Executive Committee. We are also inviting you all to join Taraweeh Salat every night at 8:45 pm at DIG Masjid.

We pray that we all can maximise our good deeds in this blessed month and that you and your loved ones remain healthy and safe.
